Creating compelling real asset investments to match your investment objectives.

Who we are

Amiri Capital is a London-based real estate investment manager and adviser with a strong track record of delivering returns for investors from a broad section of real estate sectors in the UK and Continental Europe. Regulated and authorised by the FCA, since its foundation, Amiri has executed over £1.5bn of real estate transactions on behalf of major global investment houses including sovereign wealth funds, institutions and family offices, mainly from Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

From its inception, Amiri has always retained a flexible investment focus which is able to adapt as real estate market cycles have evolved. Whilst its core competencies of private equity investment into pan-European commercial and residential sectors are ever-present, sectors such as student accommodation have become a business focus for Amiri especially as a strong defensive play, as has its capability in the hospitality sector. In addition, Amiri is expanding beyond private equity into the public REIT markets.

What we do

By combining our bespoke, client-focused approach and innovative thinking we identify strategic real asset investment opportunities and match them to client’s specific investment objectives.

The strong relationships that we hold across the investment community provide us with deep market access into UK and European real estate.

Through every aspect of an investment we strive always to act with integrity and in the best interests of our clients. If we believe an investment is unsuited to a client’s particular investment profile we will advise accordingly.

×Private Equity
Amiri has a strong track record of advising on single mandate private equity transactions with an average single lot sizes of £100m+. It has evaluated, structured and executed transactions across core European real estate sectors including residential, offices, hotels and retail properties.

Listed Real Estate
Whist Amiri has traditionally managed private equity real estate investments, it is seeking to expand its presence into the public markets, specifically the listed real estate funds sector. This comes at an exciting time for REITs in the UK, as new regulations which came into force this month (September 2016) means that REITs have being awarded their own GICS classification. This new equity classification for REITs, outside of the Financials sector of which it used to be a part, means investors who have specific sector weighted investments will need a specific allocation to REITs. These types of small cap and income funds will need up to two per cent investment in REITs.
×Student Accommodation / Hospitality

Over recent years, Amiri Capital has pulled together a specialist team with extensive experience in the student accommodation and hospitality sectors, headed by Partner Bindesh Shah together with Stuart Jarvis, a seasoned investor having overseen £150 million in transactions.
Amiri believes that there are compelling opportunities in specific UK sectors which, post-EU referendum, offer a strong defensive play against ongoing market uncertainty. Amiri sees specific opportunities in the student accommodation sector, and has already identified a number of compelling individual investment opportunities, based on strong market fundamentals in the sector.
